My name is Martin Maden, a Melanesian filmmaker. I created this web site to help promote the art and cultures of Pacific Islands people and Pacific Island Artists. I am concentrating on film in Papua New Guinea and Melanesia. My dream is that one day, we shall see a vibrant scene in the South Pacific where the fire is kept burning by Pacific Island artists, where the definition of our identity is our own and gives a unique direction to our modern art forms.
